Build for the Future
CRC’s Build for the Future program offers scholarships to young men and women pursuing an education in the skilled trades.
About the Scholarship
The U.S. faces a critical shortage in skilled labor, with 2.1 million manufacturing jobs projected to go unfilled in the next decade. CRC is proud to partner with the TechForce Foundation to support tomorrow’s trades through strong community, scholarships and career placement programs.
Beginning in 2023, CRC has sponsored the modification of a specialty vehicle to auction, with proceeds from the car sale directly benefiting scholarships.
The Car Build
This year, CRC commissioned long-time CRC fans, Clay Millican (NHRA Top Fuel World Champion Driver) and Jeff Lutz (Lutz Race Cars), to modify and restore a 1977 Chevrolet C10 truck with a high-performance Edelbrock/Musi engine, blending old-school style with race-ready power.
